Gold Rathian investigation?

I spent 5+ hours or so collecting tracks in the Guiding Lands with a Gold Rathian present, I caught about 7 of them, I also spent a couple of hours in the Elder's Recess and haven't gotten a single investigation.

I'm MR 90...
Is there a specific trick to it or am I just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ till the next event comes around?

Send your safari to Elder's Recess too, they can get you the investig once you've hunted a Gold Rat once in GL.

Do you even get the investigations from Elder's Recess or Guiding Lands?

yes you could use felyne researcher(random food skill) for more investigation from each track

btw what do you want with goldi parts? isn't all the stuff outdated through all the new monsters like safi, angry brachy etc.

i also have one investigation for narmal rathis 1gold,1 silver, 4 bronze on the main 2 player 3 carts or 1 temp goldi 4 box 2 carts 4 pl on the twink. session id ?

I wanted to see how tanky you can make a build and Blessing 5 seems like a really good pick up.

It's pretty tanky. Along with Cruste's suggestions you could ask if anyone has the investigation. (Though I think you have to be MR100 to join the investigations?) I think the quest to fight a Gold/Silver happens at MR99. At MR100 you'll be able to join Guilding Lands of others who have access to it.

You only have to be MR70 to join investigations. The optional is MR125 iirc.

The best strat I found as join the elder ress with a savage jho, he is a treat 3 monster the same as rathian and elder ress is the only map she appear beside GL (more chances of get investigations of her, and Savage leaves a lot of tracks behind), I spend 2 hours following jho picking up his tracks and finally got both gold rathian and silver rathalos investigations (silver is hard to get too), after the first I get investigation of them all the time now.

After 300 investigations I finally found one Gold Rathian capture. I guess Jho really is the most reliable source.
