Vigorwasp revive is annoying as all hell.
The revive is a nice idea to add more levels to the item, but in 99% of my cases where I've been revived it's just forcing me into the revive animation only to get hit by a lingering move, essentially delaying the inevitable death I would have experienced initially. Vigorwasp is super useful, I don't want to outright switch out, but if we were given a free divine blessing for the first hit within 3 seconds of being revived or something like that, so that we're allowed to live instead of being locked in an extended death animation that'd make it less annoying and more actually useful.

It's a revive from carting, It's already super strong even with the slow animation. It doesn't need to be better in any way or It'll just be too powerful.

Leveled it to 15, never again.

Flashbug is OP now, if it legit just doesn't work then go Coral.

It's strong enough as it is. It doesn't need any buffs.

Honest to god, like if I'm in multi my teammate can do something to take aggro or otherwise help me avoid just dying 5 seconds later.

I get that it's powerful considering it's a revive but when the "revive" just makes me take a second big hit from the monster I'm fighting that kills me again there was literally no point in reviving at all. Giving a small period of time right after regaining movement where you can survive a hit down to 1 HP or something would make the revive actually helpful instead of double killing me. I'd rather just cart instead of wasting time watching my character walk straight into another killing blow.

Funny. The one and only time that revive actually helped me was against alatreon haha. Plenty of time for recovering after most of the moves.

Right? There's the occasional time where in solo the monster stops focusing on you to refresh or take a breather, and that's the only time where revive doesn't line you up for death.
A monster barreling down on you constantly ain't gonna make the revive worth.

Yup. Thats why I ditched vigorwasp entirely. Meowlotov cocktail ftw. I just love the fountain. Attacking cat... best cat. Because utility really is useless for cats.... because you can do that better yourself. (No these small buffs arent worth it if you can actually have a cat that does "some" dmg), yes gong is okay but can also screw you up, once you miss one of the big attacks because of it you get mad and ditch it.

Well okay the shield also can be nice.. but imho it helps to much xD.

Again this post? why doesn't people use the search function of the discussion section?

No. It is very well implemented. After you get control of your character you can roll any incoming attack. The time between the invulnerability period animation and the moment you control your character is very short (I don't think there is even a second there), so the chances for being hit are low.

So either you guys are doing somethin wrong in timing the dodge correctly, or my cat is better than yours...

This is why I like having GUTS. I cannot express how many times its saved me. Its how the vigorwasp revive should work.

I resemble that remark. :-/

I normally run the shieldspire on my cat anyways. The stooge gets so much agro that if I take damage its because I was too close to it. Put a sleep weapon on the palico and you are good to go.

Am I the only one who hasn't ever been instantly carted again after being revived? I have a hard time believing the notion that the monster waits for the moment your iframes drop to hit you again (it doesn't).

Granted I've only ever been revived by it a handful of times, it's really not as worthless as you claim.
