Geralt and Ciri

Hey guys wanted to ask is the Witcher 3 event available to play and can I unlock Geralt and Ciri at any time now or? Also I've heard that the grind is atrociously bad if you want to get them both and their weapons.

Use the Defender gear bruh. Makes the grind so much easier if you wanna jump into endgame stuff asap. The AT Leshen event should be available now because of the Sizzling Summer event.

Over six hundred hours and I still haven't done that quest as Geralt...maybe one day.

Don't know if the grind is atrocious but I've heard doing the Geralt quest with the Pukei-Pukei is kind of a pain. It's pretty much why I haven't done it yet.

Geralt armor can be made anytime while ciri armor is made from material from the event quest. You should be able to do both right now.
Fighting leshin is either going to be the easiest thing in the game or your worst nightmare. My advice is to go fight leshin with sword and shield.

1. Yes the event should be available, I haven't checked though but I did it far after release.
2. The grind wasn't that bad, by the end of the quest line I remember being able to craft at least 1 of them.
3. I feel like the grind more stems from the difficult monster, but I never tried grinding them after.
4. You can use defender to make the quest easier, but if you've already beaten the game then there's no point in using it. I would personally recommend again using it, but it's your choice.

Geralt armor and qest is avalible all the time.
Ciri quest is limited but rotates over time so even if you miss it ti will be back.
Bouth are kinda usless in the expasnioson so what you realy want to get is the Layerd armor which is cosmetic armor you wear on top of the acual armor.

Isn't the layered armour the hard one to get because it requires the Ancient leshen and mutagen drops? I'm really bad at the game so it will be quite difficult, because I had been playing with friends yet it was difficult to get the hang of the combat.

I believe the Layered armor for Ciri and Geralt only requires the Mutagen material to craft at the Iceborne smithy. And the Mutagen material can either A) be acquired the ole fashioned way by beating up the Ancient Leshen event or B) bought at the Melder for 1 Gold Wyverian Print each.

As for weapons, no clue. Maybe you can get them Layered by getting the Unity Ticket? But I haven't cleared that event yet.

geralt set isn't that hard you farm leshen over and over again

Leshen isn't that hard but he's skill check monster since you're forced to play solo and your equipment are locks to only what game offers

Ciri gear is another story you need to do Ancient Leshen Even quest which is one of the hardest challenge in the game (iirc Ancient Leshen has highest hp out of any monster in base game even with scaling) you're not supposed to fight Ancient Leshen alone and required 4 man team
to take on (same thing with normal behemoth and ex-behemoth they're force 4p scaling , soloing them means you take on what it meant to be for 4 player)

and their gear aren't even that great depends on where you're at Geralt gear is good early game cause it can be access very early after post game

but if you bought iceborne just jump into iceborne

if not depends on weapon you're playing if you using most melee weapon find a squad to do normal behemoth

behemoth set was the best set the base game has almost every weapon that are raw melee weapon used them
