Elemental Damage or Resentment Alatreon LBG safi set

Currently using an Alatreon Bowgun with safi set, but im on the fence of which is better cause im not math wizard.

Would resenment decos or elemental damage be better.

Both, with safi armor for max damage.

Since you will be using elemental ammo, elemental damage obviously. Resentment only boosts raw damage so the boost will be very small. Safi armour comes with Resistor 2, so coalescence could be useful.

Go for elemental first :) honestly, I wouldn't bother with resentment,.in most weapon it's good, but in this case, you usually don't have the room, as stamina surge, and constitution are better for damage, as they give you more uptime

2.piece velkhana, and 3 piece Safi, with dragon attack level 6 is the best way to pump bout larger numbers :D


That or 4 pieces of silver rathalos armor, with the alpha legs from Alatreon, but that would require some impressive decos to get it to work

Oh! And you should also run spread shot, and force shot decos :)

Since that LBG can fire all elemental ammo, it would be better to get fire and ice damage first since they do the most damage to the other mode. Dragon ammo sucks and is very limited.

I hear this velkhana now and the, guess its better to try instead of thinking everything not safe set is useless

Yeah come to think of it you never mentioned fighting Alatreon. I just assumed. So don't bother with getting both fire and ice element. Just get whatever element you need. Get 2 piece Velkhana and 3 piece Safi like Polaris said. That Crit Element will be better then 5 piece Safi.

He shouldn't be one shotting you. He doesn't have any moves that will kill you in one hit with at least 2 levels of health boost. You are welcome to play what you like but Alatreon's armor is the worst post-game armor there is. Safi armor is so much better it's not even slightly close.
