Behemoth hub music is killing the game for me

I was stupid enough to go and look at Behemoth. I didn't even plan to beat it - just wanted to screenshot and fill in the entry in the hunter's guide. And now I am stuck with his music seemingly forever.

The decision to change the hub music with no way to swith it back is one of the worst design ideas in this game. My playtime between getting the Xeno quest and beating it was seriously sullied by this. But that theme was much better.

The thing is I am in no way ready to face him - I am at a rather low rank (HR29) and don't have access to recommended weapons to even try solo. Aand yeah, I am a solo player, in all games I play.

Honestly, I feel like just dropping MHW, because it's bad design. I hate this, I hate the fact that the game doesn't have the decency to let me play it with any quality of life. I won't be able to stand hours of grind with this theme in my main hub. I like the standard theme, and I'd rather hear battle themes of monsters, which I won't if I turn off BGM (and switching it off and on each time is a hassle - why should I suffer like it for not wanting to do an optional quest, just why?!).
I start to hate not only MHW but also FFXIV to be honest, and I don't like this.

Are there any alternative ways to deal with it? A mod to switch the music back to normal? Hell, a paid dlc?
Is it a realistic idea to go and find someone to carry me through this quest to stop the game dying in my eyes? I would need complete carrying. It's not like I even know how to use multiplayer... damn. I suppose a random SOS won't be enough, of course.

I know about the mod for easier Behemoth, but the description says it scales him to the level of tempered elder dragons, and I am not at that level as a hunter - I am learning my way around the basic Teostra, no temporal mantle yet and all. Like why the hell does the Assignment even apears for unprepared people like me, wtf?..

tl;dr: inescapable Behemoth music makes playing insufferable, pls halp, gitting gud isn't on the table atm.

wait what? You can't change the music? lol that's dumb as ♥♥♥♥. I guess your only solution is to just not use the gathering hub, which is ridiculous

There's a mod to remove its annoying music, you should beat it tho, just post thread asking for help with session ID and people will help.

Yeah, I can't believe it myself. You get stuck with the "special" music once you get certain quests, like Zorah and Xeno quests in the main story. It felt bad too, but at least it was the main story and the quests were easy. But in this case the quest is optional, very hard, redundant in terms of gear because Iceborne - and the music is inorganic.
I have used search, and the usual response is that you need to beat Behemoth for it to go away, and it's a hassle, a problem and a thing I simply can't do/don't want to do.

I really can't. I am at HR29, barely getting to fighting Teostra properly, No temporal mantle, for example.
Have mained exclusively IG, starting to learn other things. It's my first MHW, so it takes time to learn.
Haven't beaten Kulve.
I am obviously unprepared.

Damn, seems like killing the session manually has magically saved me. Thank god, I am not touching that assignment now forever and ever. I want my cheery Astera courtyard BGM and no mad dog guest monster, thanks.

I know that feeling. The constant Behemoth music led me to switch to my own music library.

In retrospect that wasn't the worst thing. MHW is now one of the few games I can listen to my own stuff comfortably even if I finished that assignment eventually. I'm never going back even if I do like most of the in-game soundtrack.

Thanks a lot! But I am good for now - I killed the session, and the quest went back to its unexplored state, the music too. I guess, I will go back to it and crying on forums one day, but today I'd rather go to sleep.

You can always just hide in the hub, ask people to carry or simply download a music replacement mod.

simply fire a sos and let it be killed by any mr player joining and focus on not consuming all carts
eat for safeguard to get an extra life (6 red beer)
use a defensive build with vit+3 and divine blessing.

you could also simply move on to seliana and craft some early mr gear for easy mode...
