Can't beat Xeno'jiiva
I can't beat the thing. I have to confess I only ever got past nerg and some of the other elder dragons because I had help, but is it even possible? If I die once the health bonus from eating is gone and then I am killed in 1 hit. Its impossible to kill this thing.

UPDATE:
I switch from dual blades to a hammer and then killed him on the first try.

Spend some time watching his attacks. They've all got pretty huge windups on them, so with a little time you can pretty easily tell which move is coming when he starts moving.

And if he flies, spam slinger ammo while he's up in the air to knock him on his ass.

Craft max/ancient potions so you can regain the health boost from eating.

There is a canteen in camp, so you can eat again 10 minutes after the quest starts. You can top of whatever health you aren't getting from food with mega nutrients or max potions. Ancient potions will also max out the health and stamina boosts you would get from eating, so you could use that for when you faint and can't eat at the canteen

Use Nergi Weapon, Health Boost +3 skill, Atk +7 or Crit Eye +7 will help a lot. Or you could do a defensive set with Defense +7 and Divine Bless +3 (if possible). Bring Fireproof Mantle and Imunity Mantle.

10 Mega Potion
10 Potions + 10 Honeys to make 10 more Mega Potions on the fly
2 Max Potions and stuff to craft more too

And yeah, go to the Workshop and upgrade your amor to the max.

if you didn`t, upgrade your armor

Also, if you need time to get your armor and weapons up to par, there is no rush, get the upgrades :)

Then, you can always get some.more help, if nothing else, even one other person playing pills some attention off of you ,allowing you time to sharpen and heal

Speaking of which, learn to craft max potions s and use them with your radial menu, it will save you some carts, as it is very fast emergency healing, farcasters are also really good to keep on the radial to get out if your in trouble

safely skip most of stage one by using the drop able crystals along the wall. beyond that its an endurance match. fire proof mantle, eating for elemental resistance L, using max / ancient potions to get max health, health boost 3, fire resistance decos, upgrading your armor. there are a bunch of ways that you can cut down on his fire damage.

I'm a bit curious about your armor set and weapon choice. Maybe there is another reason you haven't beaten it.

Use the defender gear.

If you fight Arch-Tempered Xenojiva you need more preparation for that,at least you need Heat Guard charm and highest defense armor and weapon with balance augmentation.
Morgue Jul 31, 2020 @ 9:17pm
Sounds like you need better armor or need to upgrade what you have

Congrats on the kill!

By the way, regarding the health bonus, make max potions or ancient potions.

Also for the stamina bonus from eating, eat well done steak, rations or energy drink.

Which Xeno? Normal or AT? Normal Xeno is one of the easiest monsters in the game. I suspect something is very wrong with your equipment.
