i cant unlock my augment in mr

i cant augment my weapons in mr even tho i finish the story for iceborne and even then it still does not give me the option. i have a completed rarity 12 bow and im mr 40 if u guys can help me with this.

It's after accessing guiding lands cause augments need guiding land materials in Iceborne. MR 50 is insane lol

To augment a rarity 12 bow you need materials from T3 Tempered monsters from Guiding lands and that requires MR100.

That's probably the main problem.

did u had the augment open in high rank? if not then u need to have the hero or warrior streamstone

The augments from iceborne are supposed to start appearing if you get materials from the monsters in guiding lands. You are not supposed to have to unlock standard augmenting. You can only do it to the top three ranks of weapons. I do believe it will not unlock until the second quest that explores guiding lands. So you get one quest to go there. Then you can explore it normally. Then you do a second quest and it finally says do whatever you want.

Most people don't remember the exact moment because it works just fine for so many people.

My advice is to check if you have a quest that goes to guiding lands and do that. If you don't have a quest for it, then go to guiding lands and get a lot of breaks and drops from a monster.

If the Augment menu still does not show up at the forge master then something may actually be wrong and you will need to contact capcom support for help.

Also important, do you use any mods. If you use any mods, try removing them completely and trying again. Mods have been know to screw the menus and drops up.

every thing will unlock foru at MR100 guiding lands will be max lvl 7 and 90% of the stuff for augment comes from tempered elders or T3 monster and those wont spawn only at lvl 7 in guidinglands.
