is alatreon a limited event monster ?

so i just killed him the first time, solo because its easier, game telling me he is only a event ? will he be gone in a few weeks ? would be dumb, should i kill him enough to make his whole gear if he is just a event ? or is he permament cant really find anything on google

Special Assignment is probably always going to be available to you, so you'll be able to join those via SOS and obtain materials, so long as other people are doing it.

The Event quest that rotates him between starting as Fire and Ice, that's definitely just temporary but will be back on a cycle most definitely, if not during random off-peak months then definitely during Seasonal events.

I don't believe they've retired any released content for Monster Hunter World, and I doubt they plan to either.

The event quests are most likely permanent. If you look at the event quest schedule they continue until Dec 30th, which, since the calendar can only show 2020, is probably as far as it could show if you consider time zone shenanigans.

I believe it's permament,it literally says Event of Alatreon is available 361 days left,so it's even only for the matter to switch ice/fire element to °make it more interesting

before i try alatreon with randoms i rather let the armor go :D solo its so much easier but ya that what be a way to do it youre right
