Dire, probs never, unless they bring back underwater. Disu... With how people were screeching over alatreon, main series is not ready for disu.

Depends on whether or not its on the to-do list. We're getting Fatalis, which shares the same skeleton as Dire Miralis, so the possibility is there. Wouldn't be surprised if they caved to popularity and found a way to rework Shara Ishvaldas skeleton to work with the past 6-limbed skeleton and gave us the Magalas and Gog.

Is Fatalis confirmed?

Its assumed, as Iceborne is the first time in 15 years fatalis has ever been mentioned by the devs.

As far as I'm aware, yes, but it could just be me mistaking forum chatter for facts. Would be kinda silly for them not to release Fatalis last as the ultimate farewell to this generation.

MHWs been out for a few years that it's become a part of most of our lives to some significant percent, especially during this time of social distancing. Whatever caps off this series I'll hold high hopes for and my money is on Fatalis making the list, though World will probably have it's own, new end-boss to rival even Fatalis.

What if all this bio-energy is feeding an elder dragon that's been preserved from the primordial era? Something that should have long been extinct, feeding off the energy normally supplied by Zorra only to emerge hungry thanks to us driving the last one away and threatens to consume the world if it fully escapes? Something so powerful and massive that the only chance we have of actually beating it is to do so before it fully emerges?
If it's gonna be the new hardest monster in the series, then I'm all in. :winter2019surprisedyul:

Same here. Icebornes been a "victory lap" of sorts with all the returning monsters, but the finale really should be something unique to MHW.

Not really, Fatalis doesn't do the big succ on bio-energy to fill their tummies man. They eat Lao Shan Lung.

You know, I asked a Frontier player on how Alatreon in MHW compares to a Frontier fight.

They said "When the battle starts with Alatreon you run to the side and prepare to attack. When the battle starts with Disu you run..."
I want Disu because of its theme, one of the best i've heard.
