I spent the whole time grabbing slinger ammo and firing it into the face of the Leshen, we had a 10 minute kill, but nobody took any damage lol...
Extreme Behemoth took 3 tries, we got it to 1 health each time, but the final (no safeguards) Ecliptic killed just enough of us to fail each time, until I took our group, and we did a bunch of regular Behemoth Ecliptic Meteor timing runs
Eventually we did it with a rando, they died twice, but we managed to succeed in spite of that
I almost died, I got stuck between a wall and a hurricane, WHILE an ecliptic was about to come down, I managed to repeatedly roll-superman dive, spam behind a blocker just before the comet hit
EX Behemoth is by far the best fight in the entire game. Super rewarding when you fully learn him and are able to solo it. And it's even better when you have a team that knows what they're doing.
Behemoth is just a trash fight
Small monsters that move around a lot have a small hp pool because your opportunities to hit them is uncommon so it's like balancing (i.e. Kirin). Ancient Leshen completely ignores this.
Not only does he teleport like a crazed coke addict and has stupidly large hp pool but he also has Vaal's effluvia-like mechanic which is like adding diarrhea on top of a sh-t cake. More times than not I was healing more than hitting him since your hp leeches away just from being near him.
They do allow you flash him infinitely which is like bracing a mount on Extremoth for long periods. But meh, it's not fun and Ancient Leshen is just annoying to fight. His root attacks are pretty cool though.
Extreme Behemoth has more fleshed out mechanics in comparison. 1st phase: Not really aggressive phase, 2nd: Magic Phase, 3rd: Melee+DPS phase, 4th: Basically 3 small versions of Phase 4 of the normal one. There's a very viable approach to him as a team like an MMO. The problem with him is some of his moves are ridiculously fast and hit like a truck. Oh and Charybdis, which is 100% garbage.
