THE GLAVENUS GREAT SWORD IS ♥♥♥♥, BUT THEY PUT THE PROPER GREAT SWORD ON THE PALICO, WHEN THEY COULD OF JUST UPSIZED IT FOR THE PLAYER MODEL
that mentality you have makes sense usually, but not when a proper model for the monster exists already in the game, just not for the player

Well, aside from OP being poorly worded with a dumb insult calling developers mentally ill in an uncalled for manner...

I agree it's odd and I am disappointed we didn't get more unique weapons. Personally it means a lot to me to see new gear in a game like this and while I don't mind generics having generic models for obvious reasons... I feel really disappointed when you unlock a new monster-specific design and it's just a generic model with some strips of monster hide glued to it.

I think it was smart to direct budget towards adding Rajang because we need more skeletal designs. Palico equiptment however baffling. I guess palico fashion has drawn in the female market?

Haha no. Some armor sets are atrociously bad. But since we're on PC, mods (as long as the modding community gets their hand out of their pants for once) will fix weapon designs. Dunno how they'll handle the custom upgrade system, but it's not gonna be an issue for them. Probably.

Music is also way better in iceborne than base game, and most monsters in it are better designed. I don't mind it as much, but I would almost rather they not have a weapon for that weapon type than make brachy drumsticks a thing again. It seems like weapon designs were secondary to the game itself

Male armors look good for most part, with the exception of Namielle B that turns you into a discount Jojo villain. That automatically makes it top tier.
Female armors on the other hand are mostly terrible outside of a few like Blackveil turning you into a banshee or the funny splatoon Namielle. And don't get me started on Odo A/Esurient B.

Also the only OST that I found memorable was Shara Ishfuahfuyaszd or whatever his name was. Definetly a good one.
