New Bosses are not even remotely FUN to HUNT

seems to me Capcom is running out of Ideas, and fighting these new bosses is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo annoying, theres ZERO FUN in them, like literally i get ANNOYED BY THEM, can they see trou their bs?

MHW is essentially a casualized version of the previous titles. That's part of why it was so successful because it was so accessible to so many people. Iceborne tried to fix that with more mechanics, longer hunts, more grind, etc.

You will notice endgame monsters in Iceborne and even early game ones are annoying and take about 2x longer to hunt than their MHW equivalents.

I feel like this game has very refined animations and accurate hitboxes compared to other similar games tho, every fight without exception feels fair and there is always a way to make a monster easier through your build ... many games don't offer this.

and ofc there is content for hardcore players like extremoth, Capcom always keeps hardcore players in mind but do remember that most of the game is relatively easy to play.

Ala is a big disappointment for me. Sad that they had to use a gimmick. The fight is tough enough didn't even need the nova. But worst of all is they don't even read these forums and could really care less what the player base thinks or wants.

That's the only reason why Alatreon and Behemoth aren't as fun as AT Namielle for example. You're fighting a gimmick and not a monster itself.

Even AT Leshen was a better fight than Alatreon if you ask me.

If Alatreon didn't have the DPS check, he'd just be a flying Rajang with easier to dodge attacks, nothing worthy of the title of black dragon. The DPS check forces you to be aggressive while also trying not to die, Rajang does not, that's why Rajang is considerably easier. If Alatreon didn't have the nova, he'd be about as easy as a normal Rajang due to his extremely precise hitboxes

You can have a tough fight without having an arbitrary dps check.

Leshen does have gimmick. Especially the first time you fight him, you are forced to use predetermined sets of gears/weapon.

Tbh, just because there is a gimmick in something, it doesn't mean it's automatically bad.
I don't think Alatreon fight or the DPS check is that bad. The only bad thing is the people who don't know what to do or can't adapt to a new thing that was thrown at you.
