But you could use a farcaster to immediatly hop off to the next camp
Be thankful in the older games there was no fast travel, and you didn't start with a map. It was much more of an inconvenience. - I don't really see the point of it in world as if you are fast enough you can just fast travel to a camp.
Bring farcasters with you, that way if your not prepared, even if the monster sees you, you can nope out :D
