Frostfang Barioth layered armor?!

I just saw somebody in the gathering hub wearing a layered version of Frostfang Barioth's armor.

How? I thought he doesn't come until early August. Is there a legitimate way to get his layered armor now? Even fight him now in some way?

There's currently no legit way to obtain the weapons/armor/layered or to fight it, there's a quest mod to fight it and layered armors mods updated their list to include the frostfang barioth stuff.

Edit : Also obtaining unreleased stuff via mods can brick your save until a official (or unofficial) fix is released ( AT Vaal Hazak)

Frostfang Barioth is already in the game files.

There is a mod that allows you to use any armor as an layered armor, I am not sure if it's already updated. Also, there are videos of people fighting Frostfang Barioth, probably using some sort of cheat to make the event avaiable.

I tried to craft weapons, and there's a branch that is ??? which i assume is for frostfang barioth. so most likely it is already in the files and just needs to be unlocked.

the quest and items are fully in the files already. devs just delayed his eventquest by a whole month for no good reason. i kinda get delayed it a BIT but 1 MONTH after the update got nearly 2 months delayed already? come on. thats clearly bs.

plus there is a tempered furious rajang event quest (mr 100 requirement) which is a new way to obtain highend lvl 4 decos (ASTRAL MELDING TICKETS. r11 and r12 decos only as result so ALOT better than sealed feystones)
