Just don't bring one-shots into multiplayer and you're more or less golden. People don't like it if you post DPS results in chat either.
No matter what you do, you won't get banned.
I use mods in a lot of PC games I play, so I don't really side with the argument that mods are cheating. I've never been called a cheater in Skryim for using mods lol. I started this game on console though so I just never thought about using mods when I went to PC.
IF you start modding, make sure you know WHAT you place WHERE inside the MHW folder so you can remove them when your game stops working thanks to a game update. It's GOING to HAPPEN. It's a minor inconvenience really, just know that your game is not broken if it doesn't start after an update, it's because the mods are outdated and you have to remove / update those.
Every time they update the game the authors have to update their mods as well, or else the game won't launch (Cosmetic mods don't count, they are fine regardless).
"Warning:
According to Isiloki, running this program while playing PUBG can get your 1455-hours-playtime-PUBG-account banned."
It's weird that it says PUBG in a MHW mod, but I don't like the sound of that anyway
You could ♥♥♥♥ on MHWs code and they wouldn't ban you.
missing out on what exactly?
It's an entirely different matter whether you should do it. To which I say, do whatever you want, as long as you're not making other player's experience worse. Especially when you're playing alone, then you might even be making yourself invincible for all I care. Mods like this can really help only you, it won't really make other's experience worse, even in an indirect way. It's the same as using damage meters in multiplayer. You're only running a risk of realizing how bad you or your teammates actually are. But if you're going in with a modified weapon that has impossible stats, or you're making yourself invincible, then you're messing with other people's experience in a direct way. Keep that crap to single player.
So, go ahead and use some cheats if that's what you need to do. Just don't ruin other people's fun.
