Anti CC build?
Is it possible to have a combination of Quick Sheath, Earplugs and Flinch Free or Tremor Resistance?

I'm looking into making it so monsters really can't stop me from attacking / sheathing into a quick superman dive if needed.

earplugs is probably your best bet overall, even if you can only manage 4 points. 5 is better but 4 will shorten the CC duration of the roar to be negligible.

pending on weapon quick sheath is either useful or a waste imo.

flinch free is mainly for players not monsters. if you alone, its pointless.

tremor res is another one thats a maybe. easiest way to get it is to use the Zorah gamma chest piece. comes with 2 points of it and is otherwise solid armor to use.

You probably dont need Tremor Resistance because its rarely need in the game(The few i can think of is T Jho and AT Xeno)
Earplug Lv5 + Flinch Free Lv1 is easily done with Earplug Charm + Bazel Helm Beta + 1 Flinch Free Jewel.

Or better, play the weapons that have passive anti-cc, like Longsword(Sheathing is already quick without extra skill), Lance/Gunlance(no need to sheathing weapon).
Once you get used at these weapons you are unstoppable!

What would prevent the weird stun effect from monsters like Teostra when it starts flying around?

if its like you are being pushed away from the monster its probably wind.
side note kushala has an even stronger wind pressure that isnt affected by the skill wind resistance and would either need the set bonus or HH song to prevent.

Oh is that what wind pressure is? I never really looked into it and didn't think it was related to that. I assumed it was related to gliding with the mantle lol.

u might wanna wait 5 more days for new armor skills & weapon mechanics.

with IG on full kinsect buff (red, white, orange) + flinch free lv3 = earplug lv3 + tremor resist lv3 + wind resist lv3. can easily achieve wat u ask for

another option will be 5 piece set bonus from shara ishvaalda, which gives flinch free lv3 + earplug lv5 + remor resist lv3 + wind resist lv5

P.S.: shara set bonus will only activate with a mantle on. most mantle we dont use in vanilla got extend duration, so such build can be utilizing that

Neat, I'm excited for Iceborne but I was just going through the sidequest log right now and I was finding it kind of annoying to solo some of the harder monsters like Lunastra without constantly being knocked around.

SoS, post ur session ID here, join small community
There r many diff ways to get it done as party

Oh I did it eventually, I prefer to solo stuff that is realistically soloable.

u probably wanna look up some vid regarding how to dodge/roll/dash monster roar

based on ur post's description, it looks like u were stunt by roars

& yes, solo from early-mid game is the quickest way to study monster atk patterns

I'd suggest armor sets that already have 1-2 of the status negate effect, for example the Orion set has earplugs and flinch free on it. Also there should be a MHWorld program similar to Athena's ASS

Everything is soloable in MH thats the reason there is 1/4 player difficulty and in iceborne it will be 1/2/4 player difficulty

only 0.000000000001% of players can solo safi or extremoth.

that doesn’t sound realistic for an average player

No, apparently, soloing Safi is one of the more reliable methods of grinding him, simply because people treat Safi like Kulve; and EX folks have been soloing for a while
