hi im new to Bow here, im currently enjoying bow and i have the above armor and weapon
, would like to know wad is next step of gear proression should i do? other than Kjarr Bow

Why Drain? Are you making a meme build?

Yeah drain jewels don't make any sense, you would be better off replacing them with affinity, attack or elemental damage gems with that setup. There's loads of different end game builds, depending on your play style, as long as you have critical element and some combination of stamina surge/constitution then you can go with whatever is easiest for you to farm.

IB cap is 200% iirc, otherwise there'd be dragonbone weapons hitting 200 true element and other crazy stuff.

Well 200% is more then enough tbh, even with 1,3x was it quite strong with a bow, and now with True Element Crit its devasting ^^

Ever heard of con 1 build ?
Constitution hit cap at 50%

So normally ppl build Fitness Charm + Dash Juice to get this cap

But u can do like con 1 + dash juice + felyne black belt to get this . This give u swappable charms instead of fixed fitness charm .

Above build will give u
- Crit eye lvl 5
- Ele Atk lvl 3
- Weaknes exploit lvl 3
- Normal Shot lvl 1
- Spread Shot lvl 1
- Bow charge plus lvl 1
- Crit boost lvl 1
- Constitution lvl 1
Crit element ( set bonus )

Ele Atk means Elemental attacks like water attack , thunder attacks

For bows
Thunder - Tobi bow , really good one can upgrade in Iceborne too

Fire - Anja arch 3 with triple affinity augment . now it’s the best .. but Glavernus bow will replace in IB

Ice - Legiana bow is the best one right now . Have upgrade tree for iceborne but Fully augmented , modded Barioth bow is a bit better than Legiana tree in IB . Especially with Rajang update

Water - Currently Hunter proud bow is the best . But craft water shot III because this one will shift to coral Pukei Pukei tree and become meta water bow in iceborne

Dragon - Stick with Dragonbone tree . Have upgrade tree in iceborne too .

Oh since hunter proud bow come with hidden water , u may want a new build for this .

If u have enough deco especially spreadshot , u no longer stick to lava boots and can do smth like this . But require Behemoth and Arch Tempered Parts .

These are builds before ATKT . But Kjarr are not worth farming right now and u should be fine sticking with these builds .

Just some tips on the skills you can have:

- Weakness Exploit lv3
- Constitution lv3 (lv5 if you don't want to use dash juice)
- Elemental attack (maximum lv is according to your weapon)
- Rathalos Essence 2 piece (elemental critical boost)
- Critical Eye (as high as possible)


Other skills that are good but you may not have the jewel:

- Bow+ (must have if you have the deco)
- Normal/ Spread


You can play around with the armor to get these skills.
