Behemoth Solo

So I’m going into the first Behemoth fight alone because I don’t want to play with randos. I main dual blades and I’m wondering how hard the fight is and if it’s even possible.

It's designed to be fought as a team, unlike most of the monsters which are possible solo. You can do it, but it will take learning its moves and using everything at your disposal.

Just do a few test runs to gauge difficulty for yourself. Consider joining a Discord or even posting a session ID in another post if you wanted help. Keep in mind that if you're getting Iceborne, there really isn't a point to doing Behemoth since Master Rank stuff is going to make his gear obsolete.

It is indeed possible, but it's hard especially with a dual-blade when most of his attack revolves around AOE skills. Not to mention that the reach of dual blades + the constant tornado casting makes it a real hassle to fight alone. But still, nontheless, possible to beat it solo.

It is entirely possible once you have mastered the mechanics of the behemoth. Personally, it took me around 200 behemoth kills to understand most of its mechanics and another 200 for me to comfortably solo it.

In the case for you, sadly, it is not possible for you to solo.

I threw myself at him for a week straight solo until i mastered his attack pattern.Was able to get him to stage 4 without any problems.Then joined a random group and annihilated the living ♥♥♥♥ out of him.Look up some yuotube videos it might help you.

Honestly if you have Glutton Id start there. It allows you to pull aggro and learn the mechanics safely.

If not LS is a better weapon to learn with since you are mobile.

But yes join a discord and build a team to get a few kills under your belt.

you can definitely solo him but it's very tough i recommend you watch speedrunner/solo run

with the weapon you're looking to use and try to see what they do in each situation

personally i'm a LS main and it took me almost whole month of practicing and dying over and over again before i can solo behemoth and now i can solo him almost consistently with around 16-19 minutes complete time

what i do i just keep playing and watch speedrunner that using same weapon as you over and over again

and try to see what are they doing that i haven't yet ? or what mechanics that i'm been not using

Welp, lets hope if u ever SoS, ppl w I ll join u... *sniff* unlike that one time i was forced to solo behemoth *sniff* it was scary, horrifying and sooooooo satisfying when the quest was over *sniff* GL and do your best!

It is possible, I've done it by myself... It sucked hard and I died.. Well I think I lost count how many times I actually full on failed the mission and had to restart.

It's possible, quite easy if you can use spread HBG and impact mantle to full potential but quite hard otherwise. Just be sure to bring lots of flashpods to stun him when he tries to cast the tornado, be sure to keep his aggro as much as possible to avoid the tornado spam, try to land the meteors on strategical positions and that's it.
