But you should also be doing it in a 2 silver 2 gold investigation. Silver rewards have a chance for gem, but gold has the most.

Break all then capture. Pain in the rear but will give you better chances.

Investigation rewards have the highest drop rate for gems (silver and gold), otherwise, just try and break everything you can... But yeah, investigations are the way to go.

You still might. Reason I asked for a source is cause I wouldn't put it past Capcom to just be placebo trolling me and wondered if someone had done the legwork and figured out the real values since all the official info is super vague.

Well, if it DOES only give money, there's no harm in blowing the vouchers out, on the offchance they improve drops.

If it does actually improve drops? then yeah, you'll want to blow them out on the drops you want.

Of course, if you're at a position where you can do all three limited bounties, you can trade the gold wyvernian print for a gem of your choice... But this week, that means killing some elder dragons.

Oh I forget to mention also equip your Palico with the Plunderblade. It's friggan rare but I've gotten gems from my little kleptomaniac cat.
