Hero Streamstone drop rate....

After more than a week farming HR50 Elder Dragons, I'm officially got fed up with this game LOL That's why I'm on here reading, posting, complaining in forum rather than playing the game. Seriously, after over a week farming elders I still have none hero stone, I got a few warrior stone dropped and it's not even for my weapon. I knew it's not a huge improve over the current R8 weapon but I'm doing it just because for accomplishments reason. Anyone else got bad luck like me?

Nope, it's just you. At HR150 I have 10+ of most the Warrior stones, and 2-5 of most Hero ones.

End game, it pays to have more than one 'main' in the different categories.

Keep in mind you can get Hero streamstones from Threat Level 2 monsters, such as Rathalos and Legiana.

The drops are very random as I keep getting stones for Lance .

I'm currently HR120 so I'm not far behind your rank and I got 3 warrior stones for bow/insect glaive, 3 warrior stone for hammers, 2 warrior stones for lance, 1 warrior stone for heavy bow gun and zero hero stone of any type weapon, I'm really damn in a godly awful bad drop rate lol. I wanted hero stone for GS and hero hammer stone for Hunting Horn is my second choice.

Do a Tempered Threat 2 monster you're especially confident with. Odogaron, maybe. Rathalos and Azure Rathalos are usually my lucky bois, with quite a few hero stones from them. You can do these a lot quicker than most ED's.

i logged 5 hours ago got 2 hero stream stones and 2 warrior ones
So yep pretty much rng

I got like 5+ of each t8 stone,except dual blades and sns that wouldn't drop until yesterday.

Think I got 6 or 7 for charge blade / switch axe. Hr131

Threat 1: 60% Mysterious Feystone, 35% Gleaming Feystone, 5% Worn Feystone

Threat 2: 36% Gleaming Feystone, 35% Worn Feystone, 26% Warped Feystone, 3% Warrior Streamstone

Threat 3: 72% Worn Feystone, 13% Warped Feystone, 12% Warrior Streamstone, 3% Hero Streamstone

3% odds is pretty nasty, in theory it means 1 out of 33 tempered elder hunts should give you a hero stone.

Well, I'm having over 100 gleamming stones that I'm not sure what to do with those cause I'm already maxed every R8 armor sets in this game (well, all armor available to my current HR Lunastra) LOL even with HR50 4 slots reward investigations, I netted all with deco stones hahaha. Oh, in a bright side I got all my good decos from them though.

Pretty sure this is pre-patch from the console version. I seriously doubt it's only a 3% chance considering I've got a ton of spares, they drop almost as often as Warrior stones for me, which are the real pain in the ass considering how many of those damn things you need for each rank 7 weapon.

Yeah I got two hero streamstones back to back in a tempered bazelgeuse 5 reward mission.
