Rainbow Pigment - Such a let down.
So, rainbow pigment. Any1 else find it rather ..'nerfed' compared to older Mh titles ?
its not very flashy at all in MHW, rather drab.

No idea how it was in older titles, but I was pretty disappointed. At the very least I wish it changed more quickly.

In older titles it was brighter more saturated changed color much faster, and could even be said to havea kidna of glow. It REALLY stood out.
This version though, its hardly noticable on most armors.

So, are there that few people who have got this, that there really isnt that many poeple complaining about it?
I find it hard to beleve.
MHW imo has the easiest way of getting the pigment out of all previous titles, so i would think more people would have it and more people would have brought up this issue.

basically its like saturation and brightness are locked in the middle for rainbow. when in older games it was super bright and colorful. on console the cats megaman armor for example all turns different colors with rainbow but, at night it barely looks like its even changing.

I've never used Rainbow colour on my armour, I hate it, and have always in every MonHan.

I like seeing it on other hunters though

I was pretty much let down by pigments in general. The dye locations are weird and minor for the most part. At least for the stuff we have now, and the limitations between Alpha and Beta.. urgh. But, I suppose when that Draken layered armor hits it'll be a bit better.

Lao Shan armour set also looks really good when you colour it

In generations you just had to beat glavenus in village, which is way easier than doing every quest.

IMO all they need do is add a 'slight' glow to it, add a brightness & saturation slider to it, and maybe even color rotation speed slider, or just increase the speed, and it would be great.

I really REALLY wanted it to be more saturated. I mean, isn't that kinda what a rainbow is about? Seems like a simple addition. Would love a mod to add those sliders.

Yeah, the rainbow pigment is a real let down, too dull and not flashy enough.

It's just MHW armors sucks, dye is fine - especially on Drachen set imported from FF (so it looks good since it's not ugly as the traditional MH armors).

This is my first MHW game so the rainbow dye was surprising when I tried it out. At first I thought it would just put in random colours on your armour piece so I didn't bother to actually applying it and going for a spin. Then I just did and I first went "Booring" then I went "Whaaaaaat?!?" when it fricken changed colours!! WTH. That is cool.

You shoulda seen what it is like in older titles, way mroe pronounced, and cycled colors faster.

Lets wait for a modder to make it WOOOOW worthy :)
