But you're right. We'll be keeping an eye on the console releases for more info. However, if console releases have little to no info for PC, and if @MH_official_JP doesn't give enough info as well, more SELF-DIGGING is required on the part of the community...
It's just there to remind [us] of what is to come. Thank you for your valuable input :)
This time with ICE! Stamina Draining weapon users version of hell... xD
Or even crossovers like Behemoth.
Kulve was in the list under the name "treasure dragon".
Anyway if I remember correctly that leaker said that the list wasn't complete.
Long-time fans of the series already know that "Reskins" of monsters have always been a thing in the MH Franchise, ever since the first games. Call it a "tradition" if you will. They are coined 'sub-species' of the same creature, Oroshi Kirin is no exception. The monsters may look a tad bit similar to their original counterparts, but the MOVESET of each subspecies is either different in some way or entirely new altogether.
These creatures create a "new" difficulty/learning curve for players, and usually those who are complacent enough to think it's simply a "RESKIN" get burnt, rekt, call it what you want, the first few times.
Also, subspecies were introduced to add variety to the game without the need for too many resources which makes it easier to ship over to the game as a final product for players to utilize.
Although, I have to agree that it would be thrilling to have an entirely new monster released regularly. However, practically, the situation cannot warrant such a leisure, especially when devs are tied down by corporate agendas that limit their creative freedom.
Nonetheless, we should still support them as long as they don't overstep their boundaries...
At least it changes some attacks and it's more punitive than regular Kirin.
id rather get something entirely different than subspecies, especially with schedule of 5 monsters per year.
