Something is genuinely wrong with the arena

Let me name off all the issues I have with the arena.

Barroth didn't stagger once in the entire battle.
Tzitzi Ya-Ku took me 40 minutes. Don't ask how because I have no idea. I was using the bow and it just wouldn't die. This was just a complete anomaly.
Dodogama used a grand total of ONE melee attack the entire fight.
Azure Rathalos as a whole is a mess.
Black Diablos can stun in one hit.
The big arena is used for single monster battles.
The small arena is used for double monster battles.
There are only nine battles. NINE.
The music is bad, but that's an opinion.

Why can't the arena just be normal fights? I didn't ask for monsters with hyper abilities like no stagger or no end lag on attacks or one hit stuns. Save that for G rank.

Speaking of which, when the hell are we getting G rank? High rank can only keep you busy for so long.

Also, I'm salty because I've taken the Diablos-Black Diablos battle 7 times now and I've only gotten one Ace Hunter Coin.

I aced everything, but I agree with the assessment. It is pure trash experience trying to fight lame monsters with the trashiest sets they can come up with. Some sets gives you WEAKNESSes instead of fkn strength. It is an excellent experience to fight it with another great player. I don't just look for carry, mind. I've carried new players to A ranks many times, but that really depends on your other half of the team being decent. If he's really good and you communicate and can have complete trust in his DPS while you CC or the other way around then you've struck gold, but other than that, f u c k arena.

Thanks for the encouragement, I really mean it. But is as they said. I like to play alone so if I die I will not hold anyone back, and mostly I hate that nowadays everything has to be trough Discord and voice chat all the time. I don't fit among those.

So, I spent more than 20 minutes to kill the Diablos pair in the arena with a LS and I got not one Ace coin. Before I went with the IG and I got two at once and with less time, I was thinking "hmm, maybe it is possible to do this by my own... That set will be a nice addition to my collection, too."
Well, all the frustration I felt with those monsters going into the ground, making me faint so I could do nothing but to watch my character die, ah, no, I had enough. I had some great times with this game, but I think it did already get the best out of me and I am done. Anything here takes a way too slow pace to happen, you can try to want to do anything, but this randomizer just mess the fun for me.

This game is really good and I like it, I only wish it were a bit more friendly to the the ones that wish to play it alone than to force a coop or ask you to be not a baddie or hyper good at it.

Again, thank you, but it is way too much trouble, frustration and pain for such a low reward. No wonder that we have those cheating mods for all the itens on shop and stuff. I refuse to use those and I wish they did not exist.

This is the third time that I uninstall this game ahha

oh well, maybe come back when iceborne is up? you did say you had a great time with this. it's also fine (imo) to buff yourself with cheat engine, i dunno, maybe triple your damage or 1 hit kill or something

Nah, i'd rather refrain from playing than to resort to cheating even if i think I am being screwed. I will just leave the game alone for while, maybe I do as you said, when Iceborne is out I feel tempted again. But right now, just a mix of anger and frustration and desire to try again while already seeing the outcome.

Wish I could forget about this game.

And I stand by what I said. The arena is scaled for multiplayer, even when you go solo. Garbo design. Fight Azure Rath in the arena, then fight Azur Rath in the wild. Same monster; wildly different fight.

The arena in this game sucks. Period.

I kinda like even solo it if it's not Azure Rath or the duo monster quests. Gives me an excuse to fight monsters I otherwise wouldn't with weapons I wouldn't typically use, so it's kinda a fun challenge.

All monsters/quests in MH games have individual values for their Stun, Stagger, Exhaust, Damage, Health, Defense, and Mount thresholds. There is nothing wrong with the arena quests, they are designed to be more difficult.

Previous MH games do have better arena music though...

...arena isnt solo, im pretty sure that was said plenty of times (sucks but deal with it) For azure, i use hammer and slope, since he IS weak against ice as well (my solo method for this guy) 2 diablos was gunlance, mighr have to try GS next time since im more experienced with it now

Yeah, I know that. too bad for me for this being how it is... I will deal with it. I am downloading the game again right now. It will take five hours... What have I done?........
