Can't Pick a Weapon!

My main problem is that I enjoy a weapon a lot when I first start to use it but get bored of it pretty quickly. Here's my experience with each weapon I used:

I used Bow up to Nergigante. It's alright.
I tried farming up a HBG when I was doing Bow but ultimately disregarded the weapon as something I'll never use (for now...)

I did Charged Blade after the Bow for just as many quests. I like the Charged Blade but I feel it's too reliant on getting up to and then spamming the ultra discharge.

Now I'm currently using Lance. So far that has been the most enjoyable being able to tank through everything that monsters have to dish out while also being super aggressive.

I feel like switching again and can't figure out which one to go with.

SnS sounds cool but I might go with Gunlance instead seeing as how much I liked the Lance.

I just want to see what you experienced players do to get over a problem like this. Do you guys bounce around a couple different weapon types? Do you main a single one?

theres no rule to focus on one weapon try weapons out in the training area, and if you like the gameplay and combos craft some stuff around it. Play it a while and move on to the next or constanly change to what you like.

Monster Hunter is a Long grind game anyway so let ur inner Weapon freak out.

i just use all the weapons some ill use for specific monsters like i always go ranged agaisnt kirin because of how small and how much he moves. plus if making all the weapons will give you alot more to do once you have finished the story.

If it really has that much space, I'll be grinding low rank longer, oh boy.. Also, yes, I love nearly all weapons in their own way, I want more..

i picked weapons base on style. i dont like sheilds. axes, lances, bugs, blunt weapons ,bows and guns, so i main GS and sometimes use LS and DB. Been picking weapons this way since mhfu. just pick a weapon you like the look of and master it, make it an extension of your arm and never miss a hit again.

I'm new player to mhw,so first i try greatsword,it was great at first,bu then i meet quick bosses,and change to ig,but its soo annoyin when u try ti shot kinsect in head and miss because monster too mobile,and u try to hit head to get at least damage baff,and so on,and so on,then i tried many weapons,hbg is kinda good,but slow,if upgrade with shield its ok i guess,lbg is like hbg
only it have low damage,but if u use special shots,its have ok damage,tried hammer,its good,thats it,but in all weapons there is tru jewels,like longsword,IT IS REALLY GOOD,you just need to know how to handle him,and you will shave monster like your beard,because its like straight razor,there is also duals,wich is actually pretty good to cut monster parts,but no protection ,like shield,and there we go to sns,pretty good weapon IF u know its advantages,fast,mobile,its like jack of all trades(currently use it),there is of cource charge blade,which is not baaad,but repeat one combo and then use axe part kinda.....meh,gunlance is kinda ok,for lance user it would be great i guess,gun part is pretty fun.

It's unlimited. I've crafted an absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of weapons across all 14 types (I have a minimum of 3 different weapons in a given class, plus sets of armour for all the ones I'm likely to use).

Indecisiveness is good in this game, you get to enjoy more content in more different ways.

Then do as I do and make use of these 160 loudout slots.

Getting whatever you feel like is no problem and that's the actual end game.

With so many fun weapon types, limiting yourself to anything is stupid.

I'm "maining" CB myself, but I have least CBs out of all weapons, most being horns and HBGs.

Variety is the 2nd name of MH and fully utilize it.

im pritty sure you have infinate space i have like 6 pages of weapons at the moment
