unfortunatly Jho weapons dont get anything from no elemental boost deco which is a big deal.
only thing that bothers me is the low sharpness and no gem slot on the weapons
There's only one gunlance with lvl 4 shelling so i dont get much choice unless i want to do the full burst build
Not true, negative affinity can make you do anti-crits that do like 70% damage opposed to the full amount. A weapon with high negative affinity can hurt your DPS, especially if it has yellow sharpness due to the low sharpness modifier. That really will rape your DPS if it combines into one massive storm. Negative affinity isn't simply a lower chance of doing crits, it's a chance to do a feeble hit and when your affinity is in the negative, you will NEVER crit in addition to having the chance to do a feeble hit.
That being said, yes, they're viable. I especially like the classic design of the gear, it stands out among the generic looking gear World tends to have otherwise. Considering World has no purple sharpness and is VERY stingy with white, Deviljho weapons are indeed pretty viable right now. Just try to negate that neg-affinity if you can.
Affinity matters most on weapons that hit often like DB's and SnS or weapons that don't hit often but hit very hard when they do like GS. You can easily counterbalance the negative affinity of the Jho weapons because it isn't too bad, at least in comparison to some weapons in other games where I've seen negative affinity hit 70-80%. But Affinity is important and raw doesn't outweigh it 100% of the time, stating so is objectively wrong, GS builds especially can be bolstered immensely by critical hits which affinity does nothing but support when paired with skills like crit draw and such.
