Flashfly cage? something wrong.

Hi, I went to the place to find the palicoes to get the flash fly cage but they are not there?? why??

Also, how do you turn night into day because night time is annoying.

Really, but can you tell if you go into night time from the post quest part. Because nearly always its night time.

Also, can you tell how many doodles marks you have found? Because I lost track.
You need to colled all the tracks across like the wilspire/astera as well right? I found 3 in astera, that is it.

Well it says to go there, or callect the doodles. So you have to collect the doodles all first?

Is this about the protector cats? I collect some of their doodles (not all of them). then found their hideout. The cat say (according to Palico translation), they got separated when barroth kick their ass. so you have to find 3 of them by capturing with your net. Just gently capture it. They runaway pretty quick tho. So be ready.

Wait what to get flashfly cage you need to follow a cat near the rathalos nest at the way top northwest area of Ancient Forest with your own cat on an expedition. You should then arrive at a new campsite and past that is a dead end where you find Grimalkynes that give the flashfly cage.

If that's not enough google "mhw ancient forest grimalkyne"

Flashify cage is with the bughunters, they appear in the forest. Collect doodles until your scoutfly can track them, then follow the scoutfly. It will take you through the old treeway and you'll spot a cat, follow the cat and you'll miss him, then follow the scoutflies through the cat's trail to their camp.

That´s about it.

Do I need follow the cat first? Because I go to the area where the cat ends up but nothing there.

And do doodle build up, no bar to tell how many u got. Do I go in and out and collect more doodles or have to travel all areas?

follow the cat till the end. you probably misses the cat

There is no way to advance time. The day/night cycle is on a 30 minute timer and the only thing you can do is sit down and wait. It's very stupid...

Really wish we could sleep in our quarters to advance the clock to the next day/night cycle. I hate hunting ancient forest at night.
