I haven't really messed with the other weapon types yet since I'm still hoarding mats after crafting the armor and gun.
I was able to hit 1000 Dragon elemental damage on the Hammer by giving it one Element Up augment and taking Dragon Attack 6 alongside it, but uh yeah.
Seems like they're only really good for wrecking Alatreon himself with, anything else weak to Dragon is either not enough of a threat to warrant building a counter set for, or can be handled with other elemental stuff without much issue anyway.
Some of them have interesting properties, though. For example, it's another Wide 7 Gunlance with lots of sharpness which can somewhat reduce the need for Razor Sharp or Protective Polish - and apparently it has fully outclassed the Safi Awfulshot LBG in terms of elemental damage, but not Sticky? Etc.
Why do the Alatreon weapons match Vaal Hazaks gear (when tinted pale pink, of course) more so than his own armour set, lol. Unpopular opinion maybe, but I think his weapons look garbage. I don't like the colour scheme or the unruly spiky nature of them, myself.

I'll need to grab the hammer just for the name though ;D
Also the first bowgun with rapid fire Dragon S, which has got to be worth something.
The rest are good for sure but the best option when Safi and Kjarr weapons are available? Doubt it honestly.
