My Palico is designed after my deceased cat.
My cat is based of my cat
My chara is just a cute redhead, and my palico is based on a cat my sister and I briefly took care of while he was waiting to be adopted.
Once I switched from console to PC, I also made a switch from Male to Female Hunter for a fresh start who in turn is also based off a character I created in Jump Force who's design I ended up liking more than I thought I would. The cat is just based off whatever media I was influenced at the time of creation. In this case, Jojo.
Gotta love cheetos
Chinese Chibi::
A place in China where a small army from the south successfully defended against a massive invasion from the north in ~208 CE.
Japanese Chibi:
Meaning midget.
Both words are pronounced differently in their respective languages but they're written the same with Romanized characters.
Small thing fighting giants.
My Palico, on the other paw, is based upon the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. I felt that it would be a bit dull to have yet another pink cat character so I thought better of it.
Palico isn't based off of any cat design.
