You're not bad at the game, just inexperienced.
It's an incentive to switch to ranged weapons which if you're someone like me who sticks to 1 or 2 weapons and is a pure melee person means ♥♥♥♥ all, more of a middle finger than anything else.
TDLR: it’s nice to master 2 weapons to have more flexibility with different monster types.
This is the most azzhole answer of the day. The guy is looking for advice and you dump your elitist ♥♥♥♥♥ on him. Go fock your fist.
that's one hell of a necro.
i'm surprised no one noticed.
1. Don't expect to be dealing dmg all the time.
2. You have to exploit the windows that are fewer in you case.
3. USE Earplugs (even at the cost of some dmg) - this is your window, too.
4. Flinch, traps and trips should be bread & butter.
5. When she's up, grapple and do airborne dmg.
6. Hit legs as much as possible.
7. Use Stamina Thief.
8. Use Fire, but more importatly some poison - either in wpn or bombs.
9. For the first few runs - get a friend? (one)
10. Give your palico fully upgraded shield - he will put up the scarecrow (or what the name is) - this surely is your window.
Sorry, my bad. LS, DB and IG can't use StamThief.
