Monster Hunter: World
ZINOGRE EVENT QUEST
Please put zinogre in the arena, the ancient forest just turns this badass wolf into the biggest coward imaginable. Also the map having banbaro just deservices this fight even more. The map itself is so vertical it sucks to be hoping on ledges by accident or losing zinogre completly from sight as the branches and or banbaro's butt are in the way. The gem farming by itself is already pretty miserable, and you put it in the ancient forest? Please change this. This extremely high effort cassino game needs to tone it down with the annoyances and hindrances.

This is basically why I just kind of prefer running T3 elders or something. Don't have to deal with other monsters and you barely play on Ancient Forest ;p
You should ask modders instead of capcom as they are more likely to do it.
The entire iceborne grind is pretty miserable due to the constant interruption of other monsters and the unstoppable limping.
You have no clue how much effort they put to have these monster fight each other be thank full and if u dont like the grind you should have searched what MH game is before buying.

All MH series grinding the game built this way made things rare so you keep playing.

They might make another deco farming quest in the future hopefully in the rotten vale or hoarfrost or the recess or the highlands. Anything but the forest!

Because rotten vale is less annoying than the forest.
Thanks for telling me shinshe, i just have almost 2500 hours in this game, thanks for the tips! They are not welcome, i've been playing the end game for many hours now, and i'm not saying what i'm saying for the lack of experience with mh games. I just feel like the rng ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ endgame by itself it annoying enough, when you add safi and kulve and gem farming to the mix. And then they hand a event quest, on the worst map possible. They literally made me start hating zinogre, which was my favorite monster in mhp3rd for example. Now it just feels so tiresome to hunt it due to the map he's in and the constant running away.

Yes, may the capcom senpais read this, or a very good modder. Main issue is the map tbh, the mobs are just the icing on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ dung cake.

I guess he didn't do the endgame of the base game.

Who remembers the rng nightmare fest that was the stream stone farming? To see it drop, but it was for a weapon that you don't even like. At least the main farming of the gathering lands is progressive but with still a little bit of random.

But sure, lets complaint on how Capcom gave us a quest to farm super rare decorations and how difficult it is and how it made me hate the monster.

Older games had rng yes, for farming the upgrades, weapons. But for the gems, you could at least craft them! Imagine if you could craft gems in mhw? Wouldn't it be better? But they gotta put you through repetitive crap to get what you want.
Not 100% sure with other weapons, but the technique I've gotten down for that hunt is to load flashpods after he leaves first area. When he gets ready to leave limping, guard point (CB) or dash dance (bow) the howl, flash immediately to prevent him from running, then get the traps ready (pit fall of he's charged, shock if he's not) and capture him.

I did the vanilla, or are you talking about shinshe? Btw i didn't complain about the dificulty, i complained on how it basically drags out.

I know bro, i do that to prevent him from running away. But sometimes he's random about it, sometimes there's a banbaro offscreen, other times an anjanath. Random screams, so i should have earplugs on all the time and hinder my build to deal with the randomness then, and hinder my overall damage.

That's true. Definitely the most annoying part of the hunt to me is when banbaro or anjanath get involved. I don't remember any issues with other monsters in the lavasioth or greatest jagras hunts.

Yea those vanilla gem farming quests were more chill. And jagras was also challenging for melee(I'm melee).
Anciant Forest is great, you can get zinogre into a couple turf wars, you have gone traps to use on him, boulders to drop on him :D

I personally don't mind, it also means he runs away every once in a while, giving a chance to safely heal, sharpen, and reload :)
