From console to PC.
Hi hunters! I played on PS4 before this and put in about 960 hours in it. I have the first generation PS4 and when I play the game now it sounds like a jet engine. I built my PC about 5 months ago (I think) and my PC specs are Ryzen 5 3600, RX5700XT, RAM 16gb 3200mhz and them sweet sweet SSD. I am thinking of jumping back to PC right now as the game is on sale. Do you think it is worth it to regrind everything again?

That's a question you need to ask yourself.

Is it worth to regrind everything again?

If you've enjoyed the game and want to keep playing it on a different platform... You should figure answer on your own, as by 900 hours you should know every aspect of it.

I enjoyed the game. I just can't stand to hear my ps4 suffers. I really missed playing it. I'll give it a shot again. lol

If you are determined to go through with the purchase, you could probably try out some of the mods found on sites such as the Nexus to change the aesthetics of the game and the gear within it so the gear that you are re-grinding for has a new look to it, at the very least.

Any game balance altering mods I can not be sure are allowed for online play so I wouldn't recommend those.

Grinding everything again is what's keeping me from buying on PC. It's very tempting though. Good luck.

I believe there's a mod that can transfer ps4 save files to pc so you can avoid the regrind.

I've made up my mind and bought the game. Wish me luck on the grind again. :steamhappy:

Just started fresh on PC after 200'ish hours on PS4 aswell and choose to use weapons i never used earlier to mix it up. Enjoying it so far while i'm trying to master the hammer and long sword :D

Feel free to add me on steam if you want to do some hunts together with an "old" new player ^^

I would switch over if it's also possible with Xbox One save files.

You could screenshot your current decos and then use a shop mod to buy them, it would take a bit of work but totally worth it to avoid the low resolution and long loading times.

It's VERY worth it. Everything is better on PC, especially since we are sync'd progress-wise with consoles now. The only downsides I can think of are more disconnects than consoles and more technical issues. Most of them are ironed out by now though.

Is there actually a working mod to transfer PS4 save data to PC? If so where can I find it?

Nice, I haven't played on PS4 for about 4 or 5 months, the last update I played was Rajang. I'm still using Charge Blade for PC now. I somehow still love using it. HAMMERS ARE AWESOME. I love using it as well. Over 963 hours on PS4 I pretty much have used all the weapons, but I might try some that I rarely use. Cheers man, happy hunting.

Hey, I was on the same train. After playing so much of it on PS4, I kept myself from jumping on it on PC because of the grind. I just spent over a week on it and I gotta say, I don't regret it. The game is still awesome. I don't know for you, but I decided to try out a new weapon since I thought starting from scratch would be kind of boring if I were to do the same thing.
