Confused about purchase options w/DLC

I don't have MHW on my PC. Can I purchase one of the Iceborn packages standalone or do I need to purchase the base game first and add the Iceborn DLC? For the Steam 2020 summer sale, what is the most cost effective way to get Iceborn for me?

I've played the base game to completion on my old PS4, which I sold, prior to the Iceborn DLC release. I'd like to purchase it all for PC so I can take a new character through the game.

well to start iceborne you will need to have beaten the main story of world, which is after you kill xeno.
so yeah you do need the base game to play iceborne.

Is this a serious question? What do you think DLC is. The store page even says that you need the MHW to play it.
Just get the masters edition.

But just the regular master edition would be good nuff as deluxe just gives u the silver knight layered armor
