How to mount monster with grappling hook?

So you grapple on to the monster, immediately let go, and do an Arial attack, there is no garuntee it will work the first time, but you will deal "mounting damage"

Once you deal enough "mounting damage, you will get the mount, so it may take a few attempts, the glider mantle allows you to deal more.mounting damage, and get the mount faster


Also double check online for your weapon, certain moves do, and do not deal mounting damage

Grapple while wearing glider mantle, let go, attack while floating for mount dmg, rinse and repeat until mounted, profit.
