My recommendation would be to use the controller and if you prefer mouse and keyboard you can always switch back and change some of the inputs to improve the control scheme.
The basis control scheme for mouse and keyboard isn't great and I'd definetly recommend changing some of the inputs.
Controller would be the preferred option in my opinion.
theres some key the dev forgot to include when iceborne release,so if you cant look for it just edit it in the option
maybe try these? also some of the basic settings aren't gr8. Like, I think lockon in monster hunter is bad for a lot of reasons. Manual lockon (where you can tap the camera button to center on the monster at will) is better because it gives you more precise control over your movements.
Also, just a headsup, if you want to rush to iceborne where the majority of the playerbase is, the defender armor they start you off in is good for that, but if you want a genuine experience, you may want to ditch it until at least till high rank (the difficulty levels are low rank, high rank, master rank). They basically gave you high rank armor that has some of the best defensive skills in the game, so it may distort your experience if that's something you care about.
