First Behemoth quest solo?

Is the very first behemoth quest meant to be done solo? Or is every behemoth meant to be done in a group?

Also LS or Bow against him? I need his armor for my LS build but he is damn strong..

all behemoth fights are scaled to multiplayer. your first intro to him you only have to complete the first stage so its possible solo without too much issue if you use all the tools available. rocks, sleep, para, ect makes it pretty manage able.

you can also use the palico plunder blade tool to start collecting loot early.

I think the very first behemoth quest is meant to be done solo since it only teaches you about the behemoth mechanics (meteors, etc)

try to do it solo for your training.. 9 fainted limit is enough
the second battle is multiplayer recommended.. but if you can do it solo, do it.. less people, less faint.. LS or bow is strong enough for behemoth.. I use water bow to solo the second battle..

How many tries do you have on multiplayer?

9 times doesnt mean you should solo,it means it's very hard and is giving you chances to learn its moveset
Anyway,behemoth is scaled for multiplayer, get a team and beat him.

It is doable solo. Extreme behemoth is, too. Even with a hunting horn. But, as the NPCs warn you, you're expected to take a group with you, especially if you're not an expert at it.

The 9 cart one isn't that hard to solo, just have to be patient.

honestlly i'd say to try your best to solo the 9 feint one. gives you a lot of time to see his attacks and learn the monster before the real fight starts.

"The Legendary Beast" is likely meant for solo but it is also probably 1 of the easiest way to get Behemoth parts.

So, if you wanna help others, SOS it so others can join and get parts without having to do the full Behemoth fight.

It has 9 faints anyway and Behemoth's on low HP so it's pretty hard to fail it.

The subsequent quests are likely meant for multiplayer though.

I already beat the 9 try behemoth. Now I have to kill the real deal but my team always fails. There are really people who don't even know what to do when behemoth summons meteor. I'll definitely try to get on SOS story quests

Honestly, any weapon works against behemoth. The key is doing enough damage while surviving.
If you're having problems surviving, bring more defensive skills like Vitality. Especially Vitality.
