Suddenly lost my account...

Hello, I want to ask why my account will suddenly disappear. I have been playing for 556 hours. Today i open my account it start at the beginning..... Is it possible to find my account back？

Well, I’m sorry to say but there’s not much you can do if you play at internet cafe and lost your savedata. But, if you have activated the cloud save then there’s still hope for you.

go to that web, login, try to find ur MHW data section, tell me what u see

Internet caffes regularly wipe their HDDs clean(pretty much 99,99% of "I lost my save" cases come from i-caffee users), if you didn't had cloud save on and didn't saved your game save on a stick, I've got some bad news for you.

Pretty much. Save data is stored locally on the PC. So if the cloud version is later, it maybe the current (new account) version.

Give it a try anyway.

\Steam\userdata\<Steam UserID\582010\remote

In the \Steam\userdata there will be a few folders that look like "1234125125" or "12312345", just numbers. One of them is your Steam ID.

At this point it's probably best if you just restart and use mods to get back what you've lost.

Most of the other players that have lost their savedata was due to the dreaded internet cafe and supposedly not letting MHW sync to cloud before quitting out.

yea, im sorry i cant help at this point, atm u realized u hv lost ur data, then u quit, thats ur last time u sync ur data to the steam cloud...
