How 2 Mutagen from Leshen?

Can the mutagen be obtained by killing the Leshen from Contract: Trouble in the Ancient Forest or does it have to be from Contract: Woodland Spirit?

:( I mean I beat it earlier with 3 people since the health isn't scaled either way, so maybe someone could carry or you could just not die. But the event will be back around at the latest by July during the summer festival, so you have time to catch up.

Unless you're planning to stay that HR forever, you'll eventually qualify for the quest when it is available again during a festival.

you may also step on the gas and killing the two bazels and HR49 kirin, you have one and half week left to get to HR50

You can get the Behemoth Claw using the PlunderBlade, maybe you can get the mutagen too.
