Capture a Monster From Another World??

So..what are we supposed to capture? I tried capturing a Leshen and that, well, ended badly shall we say. Can they even be captured? This one seemed to ignore traps. How are we supposed to know when they are weak enough to be captured? Is there another smaller monster about?

Go to ancient forest with a ghillie mantle to the place where Great Jagras feeds the small ones. Once they eat a Nekker should appear. I don't if it's 100% but it worked for me the first time i tried it.

any quest or expedition in ancient forest, supposely night time with jagras eating and feeding his youngs. let him eat then go back to forest area where he spits food out then the nekker appears.

any quest or expedition in ancient forest, supposely night time with jagras eating and feeding his youngs. let him eat then go back to forest area where he spits food out then the nekker appears.

Just take high optional quest called Hard to Swallow, and be sure u take that mission at night, just wait the jagras eating aptonoth, follow the fatty, and when he reach the jagras area and start to feeding his babx put ghille mantle on, and just wait the nekker spawn

I remember the game heavily hinting at me "LOOK IN YOUR NOTES UNDER ENDEMIC LIFE", which has a new entry for the Nekker, when it gave me this little side quest.

It has to be at night. Also his spawn is not guaranteed, though the chance is high.

Well, I didn't want to have to spell it out because it might come across as rude, but since you asked, here you go:
I'm surprised you didn't bother to follow the very obvious instructions that the game repeatedly gave to you. Doing so would have answered the question you asked in the first post, so you clearly did not.

edit: I legitimately don't want to be rude here, but I can't think of a nicer way to point out "they told you this". :) I guess my point is that the game will reward paying attention.

Although I don't feel inclined to reply to rude people, the reason is that when it dropped that clue I went to the manual and the first monster I saw was the Leshen. I was aware there was another monster because someone mentioned it in a post but I thought I would try the Leshen first then ask about the other monster or monsters in the forum.. because I hadn't seen any other monsters even if they did in theory exist. I mean why do I even have to explain this to you?

I mean seriously, I don't wish to be rude, but it's very annoying on a forum when someone ask a questions and a respondee drags the thread off in some other direction because they question why the question was asked in the first place.

i mean, i thought his initial point was very clear, game implies look at your endemic life book, so the point is LOOK IN YOUR ENDEMIC LIFE BOOK for information on this quest
