How many times can we paralyze, sleep, ko and trip monsters?
And does tripping monsters make them resistant to tripping each time like paralyze, sleep, ko or can we take away the same amount of HP from their legs each time to trip them up?

Tripping is a fixed damage to the limb, status focused build can apply status about 3 times during the hunt, probably more against durable monster when stacking status weapons, each time it takes more status damage to apply status and eventually you'll just kill the monster..

With my slugger 3 sticky ammo build i stun for 3-4 times every run. But the stun duration get reduced everytime and the buildup get higher
Infinite times, but every next time will be harder than the previous one.

does it matter which order we apply the statuses?

Well, it would be bad to cancel a fresh paralyze out with sleeping it, but otherwise it shouldn't.
Kinda awesome when status effects get chained properly. Once had a stagger-falldown with a Girros Charge Blade. Slashed a bit and used an SAED as the monster started getting up. KO'd. Gets hit by two SAEDs again, starts getting back up, Paralyzed!

It was a fun Radobaan hunt.

As for the topic, I'd say if you want to apply status effects, go for apothecary mantle. A status effect usually applies only 1/3rd of it's hits, you can see visual effects when the hit applies it hence why slow hitting status effect weapons are not that great. With apothecary mantle, you apply it on all your hits so mob is 67% more likely to have status effects applied on it.

Impact if you're using any weapon with exhaust ability (Charge Blades with Exhaust phials, same for Switch Axes, definitely Hammers). Impact also works awesome with other rapid hitting weapons too.
