I can understand people would have less trouble getting used to it with a proper controller. But I still think many people would have appreciated that setting, too.

Well that helped me a lot. I don't know how I managed to never come up with that, considering it bothered me in other games, too.

I personally have gotten used to Type 1 for greatsword but always need to use Type 2 for sword and shield.
That IS exactly what I was looking for. Worst thing is I already tested that one and I didn't notice the difference, don't know how many neurons I had left that day. Luckily I just tested it again just in case and boom in my face.
See, I was pretty sure that feature was a must. Feeling kinda stupid right now, though, but very grateful ma boi.
