hammer skills question
As a hammer player, is getting lvl 5 maximum might worth losing masters touch?

No. Hammer is rarely going to be at maximum stamina.

Max might is bad for hammer becauae you’re using a lot of stamina. You could look into affinity sliding instead. But the main things you want are crit eye, wex, crit boost and agitator 5 or 7 if you have raging brachy set bonus.

maxmight is good for hammer before iceborne since big combo (last hit brutal big bang have max might if you play clean) ended up with full stamina, and there is not much other option.

but now there is no need for max might since you can gain affinity easier and hammer able to tenderize with ease, and clutch claw waste a lot of stamina so it is a waste to get max might secret with hammer, and iceborne monster is too agile to have a clean run for my case, a lot of waste charge time

eh power charging takes up too much of your stamina. I still wouldn’t run max might secret level 5 with hammer.

Also ignore the slugger skill unless you’re having a hard time getting one KO in multiplayer matches.

Get airborne skill. That is a must.
maximum might 5 is good on a hammer because the stamina regenerates fully on the last swing of the power charge. you could get both actually if you have the teostra technique on the safi hammer. you'll need two other teostra pieces, I personally equip the helmet from high rank and use the kaiser vambraces+. defense will obviously be slightly lower by 100 so I just equip a defense charm to go back to the 1,000s

maximum might is only good if you're speed running or something, you'd have to play extremely clean and not hold your charges too long or at all to really benefit from it and it's just more trouble then its worth

The biggest problem with maximum might, is that it doesn't trigger immediately when you have full stamina, there is a decent delay, so you could use it, you won't benifit from it for a decent portion of your attacks, weakness exploit is probably better, even if you don't tenderize.

Also, to second the orange and blue ninja, flight is really good in hammer, it's a percentage increase, for 1 deco, the better your weapon, the better this skill gets

Speaking of percentage increases, crit boost, that may be obvious, but if you don't have crit boost level 3, try and get there, as far as poverty builds are concerned, you can get at least crit boost 2 from shara vambraces

b-but that's 40% affinity with max might 5! cant go wrong with that

It already fixed with max might secret. Lv 5 give max might instant activation when your stamina back to max. That's why F rajang mail and waist beta is good for weapon that don't use stamina (HH,SA,LS,HBG,grounded IG)

For OP, no, max might don't work too good with hammer.
