How do I find rathian tracks?

Im on the quest where i need to find rathian tracks and i've been walking around doing optional quests and havent found a single thing. wtf.

Make sure you are doing high rank optional quests (orange stars).
The fastest way is to just go on expeditions and look for those.

On the map there should be a rathian icon at the bottom left. Hover over it and press tab and the scout flys should then guide you to some tracks

just... play any other quest, you didn't even need to search the tracks... when the quest ends the tracking bar will increase

One of my friends just repeatedly spammed the wildspire waste expedition, got the tracks just outside the (one of the?) camps, left, repeat. Completed it pretty quickly apparently
