Sword and shield is so good

i was sleeping on it because of how simple it looked but when i got to try it deeply and mastered perfect rush i realize how wonderful of a weapon this was, i can farm the TSparkly doggo boi in 8-9 mins solo.

That perfect rush is no joke its like 1600-1700 of DMG in less 5-7 seconds

are you sure? because i'm pretty sure its interuptible even. i have fuzzy memories of varying the timing of the backweards jump before the last leaping forward finisher. but yea. that attack chain hits like a truck

You can cancel it each time you need to press a button, you can roll out of it if you feel in danger.

if you played the previous game, it had blade oils you could pour on you SnS, ranging from effect oils, like exhaust oil, to the G rank version introducing chaos oil, combining all the oils.

made SnS the objectively best weapon in that installment of MonHun

SnS went from a meh wep to top tier with the buff to perfect rush, guess buffing those wps that are always at the bottom is not a bad idea after all.

About 2x, b4 it was 800 perfected, now its 1400 perfected (using crits and goldian at that time)

Yeah I also fell in love with SnS as soon as I got through the begginers weapon bias, but it's infuriating to hunt monsters who fly all the time or have most of their weak points high above the ground

The versatile combos are another reason that made me fall in love with this weapon, the only thing it lacks is a big number hit for waking up sleeping monsters, cant have everything i guess, no big deal since wallbang anyways...

-Uppercut to tenderize in one attack even if a light weapon and still drop slinger ammo? Check!
-Slingerburst without need to guard or such? Check!
-Shield for blocking AND evasive measures? Check!
-Mount everywhere anytime with the Jump Attack? Check!
-KO damage via Shield Bash for additional opening? Check!
-Use Items/Mantles on the fly without sheating? Check!
-Perfect Rush for hellalot of dps? Doublecheck!
