First decorations.

So i got into Master and crafted my first master armor.
Any good methods to get my first decorations?

Greatest Jagras. Or Name's Lavasioth.

For early farming you can do Flora Forstbite event quest, the event usually gives some decent early decos level 4..

Are there any difference between Jagras farm or Flora Forstbite?

Greatest Jagras takes longer, but is actually fun. Flora Frostbite takes about a minute if you've got the right camp in hoarfrost reach, but it's ungodly boring to do over and over. Frostbite also has a chance to drop size 4 decorations.

Jagras or Lavasioth only give you normal/base game decorations from rarity 5-8 which is level 1-3, while flora frostbite gives you decor level 4 and rarity 9 or above but not the rarest decorations, only decent and it's nice if you are still in early MR experience..

Try to get the Assassin's mantle and unlock the Central Camp in Hoarfrost as soon as you can.

Then spam the Flora Frostbite event quest over and over again (with Assassin's mantle equipped and starting from Central Camp).

The camp to the far north near Valkanas lair is closer than the central to the plants you need to gather. Better to go ahead and wear a full seasonal set for VIP ticket chances and add in the various gathering skills to optimize your time.

Flora Frostbite doesn't require fighting, it's a brain dead way of grinding jewels and VIP.
Equip seasonal set. Socket 1 Borany jewel and you'll complete it even faster (gather extra herb).
Take Ghille Mantle with you, Barioth can show up, if it does put it on and ignore him.
30-60 second quest clear from Camp 15, depending on luck.

Can i get the basic deco there aswell? Like crit etc.

The best way right now would be to farm mining nodes in hoarfrost reach to get fuel for the steamworks so you can get silver melding tickets. They give you MOST of the good decorations in the base game. This only works when theres a festival which currently there is one.

If you want guard up or mighty bow you’ll have to grind name is lavasioth but it will take a long time before you get them.

Don't worry about decos yet.
Most master rank early game armor just taunts you about having one level 4 slot. You're better off just using a few pieces of gamma armor or lunastra stuff for decoration slots that make sense.
