Quite disappointed about AT Namielle
Not much different from normal Namielle, just that she can kill you in 2-3 hits. As for set, I've seen the set previously(becoz mod), skills are kinda meh, but super comfy for Bow and DB users. But when you actually build it, it actually doesn't looks that good. The good one I found is Safi, which you run 4 pcs SIlver Rath and Awake Namielle Divinity, still can run Taroth Bows but you need 4 pcs Namielle but you lose so much skills.

I do lovve the color of the set, looks better than Beta+ ngl.

It was to be expected. Namielle alpha and beta sets were focused on stamina & evasion skills. But there are two things that bug me about the gamma set:

1- the thunder attack & water attack skills. Because if one becomes useful, the other will definitely be useless.

2- Recovery Speed feels out of place in this set. The coil has Evade Window 4 and Recovery Speed 2. But these two skills have contrasting uses. If you evade successfully, the recovery speed will not be used. If you use the recovery speed, it means you have failed to utilize the evade window.
useful if you run safi set

I agree with the first post, not really usefull, even if you play full set Namielle (4 parts on 5) you can't put "témérité" at V (fr sorry...no translation for jewel), you can if you don't put berserk & "mise à mort" at 3 (so useless).
And even if you play kulv db (ice e.g) you will have exactly the same elemental dommage than if you have ice at 6, lol (570 for kulv ice db rarity 12 without improvement)
And if you build a set without Namielle you can put "témérité" (V or VII), ice at 6 (every time not depending of a skill) and berserk and all the other.
Namielle AT set is good for chest (and not sure...) and for gloves mainly (stamina lvl 3 : db and bow).

But it's nice to have some news !
Thanks, bye

I also LOVE how AT Namielle's weapon pendant is completely uninspired and just a lame recolor of Raging Brach's.

Like, what about Namielle's phenotype represents that pendant? Wouldn't it have made more sense if it was something more squishy and glowy?

Capcom went full lazy with everything about AT Namielle (you never go FULL lazy, man), and it isn't an encouraging sign for future AT fights.

I'd actually say that the legs are the best part. They might have very good synergy with Kirin gloves for a thunder bow set.

A few things bug me with AT Nami:

- Mirewalker (aquatic/arctic mobility) is useless against her waves. So basically, that skill is only for shara and a few areas with water or snow. And now it's officiallya 3 point skill for no reason at all if it has no effect against the one elder dragon in the game that fits its job description.

- No Nami layered set
Sure, there is the layered Defender and Artian sets now, but they have nothing to do with Namielle and should have been separate.

So, great, can't wait for other MR layered sets that require farming AT Elder tickets that have nothing to do with them. At least it would have given us a reason to go hunt down monsters for parts even if their actual sets are useless.

- Should have had a unique weapon for each class in the same vein as Raging Brachy and Furious George. Maybe give it a unique element combo to match Nami with some kind of cool gimmick befitting an Elder Dragon.

Why would mirewalker work on her though? you don't move slower in her water at all. the unique mechanic behind her puddles, as far as movement is concerned, is her being able to stir the water and drag you inwards. Mirewalker wont prevent that.

Mirewalker is so situational that Nami's water is precisely one of the few things that make sense.

I mean, the skill is literally called aquatic (and arctic) mobility, which is what Nami's water waves prevent. If it works on Shara's sand, then spreading it to the single monster that utilizes water to immobilize the player would have made sense.

The only reasoning I can see against that is to encourage using either a water or lightning resistant deco if you have the slots available, but that really shouldn't lead to fewer choices for the player.

I also forgot to mention that the meal bonus is apparently also useless against the water tripping mechanic.

So far, my AT Nami ticket grinding experience has been getting impatient at her constantly sliding around and getting punished for it. So really, the fight is so boring I'm playing riskier trying to make it end faster. Seriously disappointing fight and just reinforces my dislike for the monster. Cool visual design, but the fight is just bad.

The waist part is good for comfy gunlance.

It will come later. You should have an extra few tickets just in case.

People forget the majesty of AT Namielle. The way it shifts it's wings from afar and suddenly the puddle beneath you begins undulating. Namielle's electric glow, it's jellyfish slide, it's octopii nature...it's a brilliant design.

Just watching Namielle move and attack, it's like watching water poetry.

That's my plan. I just hope we don't see mega-arch tempered EDs or something insane just to get the layered sets.
everyone always talks about bow and db but what about insect glaive? i mean, you can be in the air literally 24/7... maybe not useful but lmao imagine the epic aerial battles you could have

It sure feels new though. AT Namielle is different than regular Nami.
