Equipment Box size cap?

Wondering here because I want to know if it's there a limit to it... I'm a fashion hunter and I'm accumulating some armor that I need.

I think even though you craft all armor and weapons, you will still have space left.

2500. and thats shared between weapons, armor, and Charms. but you have more then enough to hold all the items, especially if you only keep finished tree weapons. also for armor you can sell all of the low rank and high rank gear because you can get all of it layered (but keep Kaiser Y Helm)

I have less HR armor from High rank quests, and I just used Nergigante as a main armor, but the majority of things i have in my equipmentbox are weapons I farmed from kulve and Idk If they are either useful because there is a particular weapon that I am seeking to collect which is Kulve's paralysis hammer... And yes I'm aware that I can seek the layered versions because I already unocked Guiding Lands and it's volcanic and tundra regions to unlock all of the layered armor.
