Yesterday it was Estelle and today it was a Yang who one shot it, can't recall the other guys names but coming in and having a fight end before anything really happens isn't fun.
2 since Iceborne came out, but none of them were one shoting monsters, just cheated augments which is equally disgusting but oh well, at least you get to do something.
In theory.
Nop! We had a 100/100 dude on a random GL farming run who was able to kill a Nergi with 4 hits. The leader and i wrote that there is a cheater on the team, we lured a temp Nergi and the dude did it again. No disconnect or anything. We called him out and he responded with a sad sticker, only to be kicked by the leader soon after.
closest thing they got to a working anti cheat is the new check for unavailable items when you go online incase somebody grabs some event items early... wooh that will teach them. what keeps world from being a cheat fest is attributed to self control from the player base more than anything else. things could be way way worse if the "big" shooters are anything to go by.
anti-cheat code is the biggest waste on a non competetive game. those of you who wanna go "BUT MUH LEADER BOARDS" shut up, the only competetive aspect of this game is their championships they hold every so often and its live and on stage and monitored.
Where cheaters wanted to finish HR SOS quickly so they can grab the VIP tickets.
I've seen at least one in every single pass event.
Ever since there was a complain regarding MR players taken down HR monster too quickly, I've step away from helping HR (LR I never touch them). Well, except for Behemoth which I don't feel like doing right now.
