You're in a party, other party member selects mission needed for dailies, no need to check the dailies. If you go onto the mission before speaking to the clerk, despite you knowing what the dailies are from your friend, you won't make progress.
So, just simply have the dailies automatically ready to complete, having to check in with someone is kinda pointless.
Daily quest are the same for everyone, so you don't need to talk to the NPC to know which ones you have to do but to complete them. This is unknown for the biggest part of the playerbase.
I know where you're coming from, I forget sometimes too, but, ♥♥♥♥ happens.
I'm not really sure what your point is, you seemingly agree it can be a problem (forgetting the to check), then having it so you literally cannot forget would be an improvement wouldn't it?
Don't get me wrong, it's not the end of the world. But quality of life things are always nice :D
So in my view i think it should remain exactly the same as otherwise it devalues our skill and capacity over clicking one button before heading out for missions.

/s if it was'nt obvious enough.
