so is there any tarot or kjarr weapon that's worth to upgrade?
i only had the LS (kjarr decay and taroth sword fire) and overall they don't really seem worth to upgrade

are other weapons better?

The Ice CB is pretty nuts. I melt kulve with it despite having bad ice hitzones. It's awesome.

If you like CB with Savage Axe but no sharpness then Kjarr Ice, Decay and Water are clear upgrades. King and Spark are okish? Some elemental Horns can hit absurly high element but since you run TCE on ele Horn anyway this is not too big of a change.
Support LBG is a clear upgrade too iirc.

I’ve heard that the elemental weapons coming with crit element are mostly good enough to replace safi elemental weapons. But in general they aren’t any better, especially the raw weapons are worse.

The majority of the elemental based weapons (some, but not all) is worth the upgrading.
Maybe people actually go for the safi loadouts insead...idk

I would rather have elemental weapons with purple sharpness, and sadly none of the kulve weapons upgrade past what sharpness they came with, which is really pointless and a dumb decision. Because some have very little white and some straight are still in blue.

Kulve weapons aren't worth it if you don't use critical element builds in some way, or need 3/3 set bonuses (Having 2 3-piece set bonuses active at the same time due to safi'jiiva) A good example of this is master's touch dragonvein awakening, since you need the weapon to have teostra technique built into it.

Kjarr bow along with safi set is pretty strong , you can hit 100% aff while having load of element .

crit element builds can benefit from set bonus stacking which has become the new meta game with how easy it is to max out all the skills you need. tests are currently going for 5 piece safi bow and raging brach + teo for db. elemental cb especially kjarr ice seems to be throwing its weight around and some old jems have come back into the spot light like the rapid normal 2 taroth support.

All Bows, Dual Blades, and Charge Blades are almost guranteed to be nearly metabreaking for element.

Second contenders for elementally focused sets that could potentially go over raw
-Lance, SnS (using the old helicopter combo, not the new perfect rush), maybe Insect Glaive?

Third contenders that genuinely may unexpectedly get good but only in very specific situations?
-Crit element level 1 GS charges (idk because those usually used frostcraft, if we get another way to get frostcraft, then it could improve)

Elemental HBGs are good too

For me all the kjar bows replaced my safijiva bow builds (5 set safi vs 4set s.rath)
All DBs except for fire replaced safijiva DB (5set safi vs 3set safi+ 2 velkhana) because fire db have really bad sharpness
Ice CB. I haven't tested other charge blades yet.
Seems like most elemental weapons are better on kjarr as a general rule

Taroth Sleep Pipe, Kjarr Paralysis Horn.

there are *better* weapons, but those HH are really good fully upgraded.

The elemental weapons are worth the upgrade.

They don't come with purple sharpness. But the damage boost of purple isn't all that great. The percentage is high, but most element values won't see a massive gain due to how small they are. Primary exception is the hunting horn who can crank element damage into the thousands. Overall, thanks to some coming with Critical Element out of the box, they will perform better than raw weapons against monsters weak to that element.

The primary thing you will need to be concerned about is how much white do you have before you drop into blue, which is a massive loss

the only haflway decent ls is the decay. good option for safi maybe due to elderseal and high dragondmg. 285 traw and 480 dragon with crit element. 15% affinity. but that is only niche aswell due to how bad ele ls sadly.

brach/safi remain meta till june for now on LS. ala wont provide a better ls. his has dragondmg and high seal by default thus ruleing it out at beating these 2. they wont give it high dragon AND 300+ traw. dont see that happening.
