Any decent way to farm fuel mid story so i can do the daily steamworks for reward?
as title says i am a scrub midway through iceborne, right now i am at tigrex and brachydios, and it sounds like velkhana will be next so obviously all these hundreds of videos i found all over youtube about guiding lands arent very helpful. any suggestions or should i just not bother with it?

I'm at the exact same point in the story and fuel just kinda farms itself as far as I'm aware. I go do a few missions and get a message that the fuel thing is full so I go to the steamworks and use it all up. Also you can convert pretty much anything you can mine into fuel, although the lower rank ores barely give any fuel. Just continue to do missions and grab the occasinal mining ore and you should be getting fuel.

I'm not sure if you can get dragonstone chunks from mining outside of the guiding lands, so you really don't have a choice. Just keep doing hunts and get the free fuel that builds up naturally.

You have to go mining in hoarfrost reach near the hot springs.

Mine the red Ore in Hoarfrost Reach. It nets you fuel materials.

Where is the problem you can easily finish the story at one day and start mining in gl
fuel from normal areas is inferior compared to gl

Wait? How could you even finish the story in one day? I just slayed velkhana after ~2 weaks, after i bough iceborn. Not everyone is so fast, as you seem to be. I, for example, do 1-2 hunts a day.

No, its just a solution for playing a game, that is rather exhausting, emotionally :P

I didnt say there was a problem.


Anyway thanks everyone the hoarfrost is pretty good to hit the daily for the reward. it will do until i get to the end!

It way more effective to just use that time to finish the game and do the guiding lands.
